A quote that has helped me immensely as a parent is “Maturity is not based on age but how well a person can handle information.”

I mean, we know this to be true right? I’ve met kids that have had to deal with subjects far beyond their years and there are men and women out there well into adulthood that throw tantrums and can’t handle information. They are all on twitter. I’M JOKING! 😅😅😅 I’m kinda not joking. ANYWAY…

My point being is that there are weighty topics out there in the life of a Christian and can kids can handle the inner workings of a cell, the vastness of the universe, world history, the pythagorean theorem, etc., then they can handle the Christian topics listed here. They want the truth. There’s a time to put away to the Christ-like fairy tales and teach them the whole Bible. Like Shane so eloquently states here; let them muse upon His greatness! How do they know what that is if we don’t tell them?

As an aside; I love that this quote works in reverse. Just saying. 🤷‍♂️
